Objectives: Chemical peels have been a staple treatment for all aesthetic and dermatology practices to address
various cutaneous and aesthetic concerns such as photoaging, inflammatory dermatoses, epidermal proliferation, pigmentary
disorders, scarring, and other aesthetic concerns. But with the popularity of lasers and other energy-based devices, they have
stolen the limelight from chemical peels and some have forgotten this well-loved procedure. This presentation describes the
current position of chemical peel in aesthetic practice and its future innovation.
