Ernst-Magnus Noah, MD, PhD, is a director at the Department for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Kassel, Germany since 2003. Medical education brought him to Lübeck, Germany, Hannover and Aachen , where he was first attending for several years. He completed a 2 year fellowship in Norfolk, Virginia USA with Dr Julia Terzis. His doctoral thesis showed neovasularization in muscle grafts , his PHD thesis investigated end to side neurorrhapies.
In 2021 he opened his private aesthetic clinic. He is an expert in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery with special emphasis in face and breast surgery. He has published many original papers on topics such as tissue engineering, muscle grafts, and head and neck reconstruction, and has given over 450 lectures. Prof. Noah is a member of many professional societies including the German Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons. He is Past President of the Association of German Aesthetic and Plastic Surgeons VDÄPC, EBOPRAS delegate of Germany and past EASAPS ESASAP Treaurer. He is national secretary of ISAPS.
