Dr. Sam Most is a full Professor and Chief of the Division of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Stanford. His practice is limited to Plastic Surgery of the face. Dr. Most graduated with High Honors from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and subsequently attended Stanford University School of Medicine, where he was honored with the Dean's Award. He then trained at the renowned Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Washington, following this with a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He was appointed Division Chief in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Washington in 2002, where he was also Medical Director of the Multidisciplinary Cosmetic Surgery Center. He was recruited to Stanford as Chief of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in 2006. He has been recognized with multiple national awards from the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, and was elected a Vice-President of this organization. He is also a Board Member of the prestigious Rhinoplasty Society. Dr. Most is regularly invited as keynote speaker at national and international conferences in Facial Plastic Surgery. He has authored over 100 articles, textbook chapters and reviews on the science and practice of Facial Plastic Surgery. He has been elected by his peers to Best Doctors in America every year since 2007, and also has been selected by Castle Connolly Top Doctors as one of the top surgeons in America.
