Objectives: The objective of this technique is to show towards the use of a pneumatic platform, the action of the combination of cross-linked hyaluronic acid, Botulinum Toxin and saline solution introduced by a unique 10 milliliters needle free syringe, in order to promote the lifting effect of the face and neck, combining parameters such as pressure and filling to promote tightening, thickness and lifting caused by micro-traumas in the dermal layer, SMAS and temporal lateral fascia. This specific and exclusive technique has been developed by myself to create face and neck lift without surgery.
Introduction: The growing demand for facial rejuvenation procedures with low risk and minimal downtime has promoted the development of minimally invasive methods such as Pneumatic Technique Platform. This jet volumetric remodeling technology induces the promotion of wound healing and neo-collagenases using kinetic energy, achieving 200 radial microns on each entry point and creating an even and optimal spread of the compound bypassing epidermis and achieving the SMAS. Indirect stimulation of the SMAS and temporal fascia leads to increase circulation in the SMAS and facial muscle layer improves muscle tone.
Materials / method: 10 patients over 40 years old were treated with a formulation composed by cross-linked hyaluronic acid, 40 UI of Botulinum Toxin and 8.2 milliliters of saline solution, applied on the entire face and neck lines in 2 sessions with an interval of around 6 weeks. The pressure can very between 5 to 40% and the filling applied was 60 micromoles to achieve the “end point”, which is a bump between 0.6 - 1 cm caused by the 1cm radial lateral dispersion of the compound. Some patients were treated with IFUS followed by the pneumatic technique to improve the results.
Results: This technology reaches the SMAS, lateral fascia and, therefore, the muscles, the retaining ligaments and the reticular dermis that synergically promotes the fundamental purpose to treat the entire structures, layer by layer, achieving face and neck lift. The zones, which were applied hyaluronic acid and botulinum toxin, significantly decreased the degradation process of the filler. During the paralyzed process caused by the botulinum toxin, the volume of HA increased. The patients demonstrated an evident improvement of the mid-face on the first week and low face were observed at 12th week.
Conclusion: This non-surgical procedure is very interesting to provoke face and neck lifting without downtime. This personal protocol has been developed to achieve specific targets such as SMAS and deep dermis to promote new collagen, anchorage and contour of the face. This platform can be associated with other technologies and techniques without side effects, improving the results in only one session. All the patients were very satisfied with the results and a new non-surgical lifting treatment has been created, mainly for men once it is minimally invasive and without downtime.
